This policy explains what information the Nocturne Tarot app
(dev.dmcsolutions.nocturnetarot, "the app", "we") handles, and how.
The app is published by DMC Solutions ("we", "us"). By using the app you agree to
this policy.
Nocturne Tarot has no accounts and no sign-in. Your readings, your journal, and your settings are stored only on your device and are never sent to us or anyone else. The one exception is advertising: the app shows rewarded ads through Google AdMob, which collects some device and advertising information to deliver those ads. In the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland you are asked to consent before any such data is used.

Because this data lives only on your device, you can erase all of it at any time by clearing the journal in the app's settings, or by uninstalling the app.
To keep the app free, we show optional rewarded ads supplied by Google AdMob. When an ad is served, Google may collect and process information such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, general device information, and interactions with the ad. Google uses this to deliver and measure ads, limit how often you see them, and prevent fraud and abuse.
This processing is carried out by Google as an independent controller under its own terms. For details, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the app shows a consent request (via Google's User Messaging Platform) before any personalised-ads data is used, and you can choose what to allow. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from the app's Settings → Ad privacy choices.
You can also reset or delete your device's advertising identifier in your Android settings under Settings → Privacy → Ads, which limits ad personalisation across apps.
The app can read your reading aloud. Some natural voices are optional downloads: only when you choose to download one, your phone fetches the voice files directly from Hugging Face (huggingface.co), which hosts them. As with any file download, Hugging Face's servers and content-delivery providers can see your IP address and basic technical request details; the app sends nothing else — none of your readings, journal, or settings — and we do not receive this information. Hugging Face handles it under its own privacy policy. If you never download a voice, no such request is made. The text of your reading is turned into speech on your device (or by your phone's own built-in voice) and is not sent to us or anyone else.
If you switch it on, the app can send you a notification each evening when you have not yet drawn that day's reading. On Android 13 and later the app asks for the notification permission first, and you can turn the reminder off in the app's Settings or the permission off in your phone's settings at any time. The reminder is created and scheduled entirely on your device: it uses no server, no account, and sends no information to us or anyone else. The app stores only the reminder time and the message texts on your phone so the reminder can still arrive after the phone restarts.
The app itself contains no analytics or tracking tools of its own, and we do not build a profile of you. The only third parties that receive any information are Google AdMob (for ads, as described above) and, only if you choose to download a natural voice, Hugging Face (for the file download, as described above).
Nocturne Tarot is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. Because the app keeps your readings and settings only on your own device, you exercise these directly: view them in the app, and delete them by clearing the journal or uninstalling. Google and Hugging Face may process the information described above on servers located outside your country, including in the United States, under the safeguards described in their own policies.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, within the app.
