Muay Thai Cards — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 26 September 2026

The short version Muay Thai Cards is a reaction game. You do not need to create an account or sign in to play, and we do not ask for your real name, email address, phone number, or payment details. The app does two things that involve data: it shows banner advertising supplied by Google AdMob, and it offers an optional global leaderboard (hosted on Google Firebase) where you may publish a score under a nickname and country flag of your choosing. Everything else — including your personal best score — stays on your own device.

This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile application “Muay Thai Cards” (the “App”, package name dev.dmcsolutions.muaythaicards) handles information. The App is developed and published by DMC Solutions (“we”, “us”, “our”). By installing or using the App you agree to the practices described below.

Information stored on your device only

The App saves the following on your device using local storage. This information is not sent to us and never leaves your device unless you choose to submit a score to the leaderboard:

You can clear all of this at any time by clearing the App's data or uninstalling the App.

Information you choose to submit (leaderboard)

The leaderboard is optional. It is only used if you tap “Save to Leaderboard” after a game. If you do, the following is sent to and stored on Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore) so it can be displayed in the public Top 100:

This information is displayed publicly to other players in the leaderboard. Do not include anything private in your nickname.

Anonymous authentication

To prevent abuse of the leaderboard, the App uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication. This assigns your installation a random, anonymous ID in the background. It is not linked to your name, email, Google account, or any other personal identity, and it does not require you to sign in. It is used only to associate a leaderboard entry with the device that submitted it (so that each player keeps a single best entry) and to enforce the App's security rules.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App displays banner advertisements provided by Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google and its partners may collect and process certain information, which may include device identifiers (such as an advertising ID), IP address, general location, device and app information, and interactions with ads. This data is collected directly by Google, not by us, and is governed by Google's own policies:

Depending on your region and settings, ads may be personalised or non-personalised. You can usually reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings (for example, Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads).

Google Firebase

The leaderboard and anonymous authentication are provided by Google Firebase. Firebase may process technical data (such as IP address) as part of delivering these services. See Google's Firebase Privacy and Security information.

How we use information

We use the limited information described above only to:

We do not sell your personal information. We do not build advertising or marketing profiles about you ourselves.

Data retention

Leaderboard entries remain stored until they are displaced from the Top 100 or until we remove them. Because a leaderboard entry is not tied to your personal identity, if you want a specific entry removed, contact us at the email below and describe the nickname, country and score so we can locate it.

Information stored on your device remains until you clear the App's data or uninstall the App.

Children's privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information (for example, a real name in a nickname), contact us and we will remove it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information relating to you, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, or for any privacy question, contact us at [email protected].

For advertising data collected by Google, please also refer to Google's policies linked above, as that data is controlled by Google.

International transfers

Google's services (AdMob and Firebase) may process and store data on servers located in countries other than your own. Where this happens, it is handled under Google's data protection terms.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
