This policy explains what information the FishTank app
(dev.dmcsolutions.fishtank, "the app") handles, and how.
The app is published by DMC Solutions ("we", "us"). By using the app you agree to
this policy.
FishTank has no accounts and no sign-in. Your aquarium, your fish, your coins and your settings are stored only on your device and are never sent to us. The one exception is advertising: the app shows optional rewarded ads through Google AdMob, which collects some device and advertising information to deliver those ads. In the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland you are asked to consent before any such data is used.

You can start the game again from the app's Settings, or erase everything by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it.
If you have Android's own device backup switched on, Android may include the game's save in your phone's backup to your Google account, so your aquarium can come back when you set up a new phone. That backup is made and stored by Google under your account and its settings; we cannot see it.
To keep the app free, we show optional rewarded ads supplied by Google AdMob: an ad only plays when you choose to watch one for coins or food. When an ad is served, Google may collect and process information such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, general device information, and interactions with the ad. Google uses this to deliver and measure ads, limit how often you see them, and prevent fraud and abuse.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the app shows a consent request (via Google's User Messaging Platform) before any personalised-ads data is used, and you can choose what to allow. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from the app's Settings → Ad privacy choices.
You can also reset or delete your device's advertising identifier in your Android settings under Settings → Privacy → Ads, which limits ad personalisation across apps.
When you choose "Share with a friend", the app opens Android's share sheet with a short message and a link to the game on Google Play. You choose which app sends it and to whom; the message is sent by that app, not by us. Android tells the game only which app you picked (for example a messaging app), so it can give you the share reward. The game does not see who you sent it to, and nothing about the share is sent to us.
The app can notify you when a fish is hungry, unwell or unhappy, or when something happens in your tank. These notifications are worked out and scheduled entirely on your device: no server, no account, and no information is sent to us or anyone else. On Android 13 and later the app asks for the notification permission first, and you can turn notifications off in the app's Settings or in your phone's settings at any time.
The live wallpaper and the home-screen widget draw your tank from the pictures and game data saved on your device. They do not connect to the internet and send nothing to us or anyone else.
The app itself contains no analytics or tracking tools of its own, and we do not build a profile of you. The only third party that receives any information is Google AdMob, for ads, as described above.
FishTank is a calm game suitable for a general audience, but it is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. Because the app keeps your game and settings only on your own device, you exercise these directly: view them in the app, and delete them by restarting the game in Settings, clearing the app's storage, or uninstalling. Google may process the information described above on servers located outside your country, including in the United States, under the safeguards described in its own policies.
